A child makes a family complete. Each day of a month and each month in this nine months period is very important for the fetes growing inside the mothers womb. Different planets guard or can say rule these months. In case any of the planets are getting afflicted in its ruling month it will create problem for the unborn child and the mother. 

First Month– The first month, the period of conception is ruled by the planet Venus. The dhatu of Venus is Shukra- the reproductive fluid, female seminal fluids along with the male creates the life by forming the egg which develops over time. 

Second Month-The second month is ruled by Mars. The dhatu of mars is Mamsa also called muscles/flesh, during this period it softens the egg and forms flesh. The mother starts experiencing morning sickness as Mars increases the Pitt content inside the body.

Sixth Month– Saturn rules the 6th month, the dhatu ruled by Saturn is “Mamsa” and it rules the skin, hair and the structure of the body. This is the period when the child develops hair on her body. 

Seventh Month– Mercury rules the 7th month of pregnancy. The dhatu ruled by mercury is “Majja” also called Nerve marrow. The seventh month is all about the development of the brain. Mercury gives intelligence and awareness. We all know the famous story of Abhimanyu son of great Arjuna who is said to have learnt the about military formation of soldiers (chakraviyu bhed) from a conversation between the parents while he was still in the womb. This happened in the month of mercury the karak of Intelligence. 

Eigth Month — The eighth month is ruled by the aadhan lagna, it is nothing but the lagna of the time of conception. There is a specific way to calculate the Adhan lagna the easiest way is to go back 273days from when the child is born. It is one of the most crucial period for the child. If the Adhan lagna lord is under any kind of affliction and the mother delivers the child in the 8th month there is a possibility of still birth. 

Ninth Month– The ninth month is ruled by Moon, Dhatu is “Rasa” the water element in the body(as it influences the tide) helps the baby to come into the right position for delivery. The final 9 days of pregnancy are ruled by Sun. It generates the heat in the body of the mother and this slowly serves the connection between the mother and the baby. The position of the planets in the sky and in the mother’s birth chart influence all the developmental stages of the fetus.
